@krismillgate Newspaper rock. Best use of column inches I’ve ever seen.
@roving_rings If we are upset with the decisions of our government, we have to do more than complain on social media. That's why we just donated to Friends of Cedar Mesa, which is suing the Administration over its changes to Bear's Ears National Monument and the drilling leases that were just issued that will negatively impact Canyonlands National Park and Hovenweep National Monument. If you feel strongly about this, join me in helping the people who are trying to do something about this disaster-in -the-making. Here is the link : https://www.friendsofcedarmesa.org/
@k.s.eden Year Two of Badass Women Backpacking 🙌🏽I was privileged enough to spend the weekend with amazing women and ancient Anasazi ruins last weekend. I was much more excited than I look. It is land that was not ours to begin with, and because of the guy you voted for has lost it’s protected status. Please be mad. #indigenouspeople #bearsears #getoutdoors
@shes.reddy Things thought while at Indian Creek... 1. Even after 13 years of making trips here, the beauty and history of this place still awe me. It’s fucking amazing. 2. I have a hard time finding my growing edge. The process of choosing appropriate challenges for a short trip can be tricky, and puts me in a position to consider and notice my own progression. Basically I am both stronger and weaker than I think I am, just a walking paradox like all the other humans. 3. Gratitude. There’s a lot in my life right now that I don’t love, the loneliness of living in a giant city, sub-optimal work situation... and yet I have such privilege, and there is much that I take for granted. I appreciate the moments that strike me like a 2x4 and remind me of these things. 4. I really need to live closer to @chelseakens PS, thanks for the photo! #savebearsears#protectbearsears#webuildmachines#browngirlsclimb#colorthecrag#melaninbasecamp
@kellonspencerphotography Take a few minutes to sign this! Bears Ears needs all the support it can get! I'll be heading there this weekend to photograph and share why it needs to be protected. . #Repost @accessfund (@get_repost) ・・・ *ACTION ALERT* We are still fighting to protect Bears Ears National Monument in court, but we now need climbers to speak up for climbing at Indian Creek and the Bears Ears region. • Follow the link in our bio to submit a comment to the BLM using our easy letter writing tool. It only takes a few minutes to make your voice heard. // Photo by @andrew_burr
@wild_tribute Have you ever been to Bears Ears? Wild Tribute is 4 The Parks! For our Bears Ears shirt, 4% of proceeds go towards the Canyonlands Natural History Association, who is dedicated to preserving and protecting Bears Ears National Monument. We believe this sacred land should be protected at all costs. The fight isn’t over.

@friends_of_indian_creek #regram from @accessfund ***ACTION ALERT*** 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 The Access Fund needs your creative writing skills Friends! They are needing folks to write letters to the BLM to help protect Bears Ears 🐻 👂🏾 👂🏾 Zinke specifically complained that many of the letters he received were not personalized, bulk written, and thus were meaningless. SO go to Accessfund.org and use their letter writing tool and sprinkle in some polite, creative, meaningful passion to help the BLM construct a plan to continue to allow climbing in the Creek! #protectbearsears#indiancreek #climbing #zinkeisstinky #zinke #letsdothis 📸 @andrew_burr
@native_scientist_ Would you let energy companies drill and mine inside your churches and cathedrals and permit them to mutilate your cemeteries? #StandWithBearsEars #honorthetribes
@trevor.andrew.long Hey, guys, I need your help. On December 4th, 2017, Donald Trump issues Proclamation #9681 ordering a drastic reduction of Bear's Ears National Monument's size. I reduction of nearly 85%! As you can see on the map in the photos above, the government is trying to downsize this monument and will be leasing the land, land that contains some of the world's greatest climbing, to oil and natural gas companies. Do we really need more drilling? It's astonishing to me that our government would destroy such a serene natural environment for their own profits. Removing Bear's Ears' protected status will open it up to industrialization and commercialization which entirely ruins the appeal of such a secluded and pristine climbing mecca. 40% of climbing areas in the monument will lose their protections including many world famous areas that draw climbers from all over the world. But it isn't just about Bear's Ears! This reductions sets an extremely dangerous legal precedent that endangers all of
